Vermeer is an award winning hard cow’s milk cheese with a delicate fruity flavour. The texture is creamy with a subtle bite of crystals. It has a lower fat and salt content than traditional aged Gouda. Although Vermeer isn’t as fatty or salty as many other Dutch cheeses, it has a robust flavor. This cheese’s wonderful savory flavor comes from its natural ripening.
