Crottin de Chavignol Fermier


Crottin is a small raw milk goat’s cheese that is minimally 60g. Although shaped like a golf ball, the flavour profile is incredible with a full, slightly nutty and hints of ‘goaty’. During the maturation period the rind changes colour and hardens, while the paste become crumbly and dry. This would all explain the origins of it’s name – Crottin, which in French means Horse Dung.
